Victory Bell made of Cast Aluminum
These Victory Bells were cast from metal salvaged from shot-down enemy airplanes and were sold in aid of the RAF Benevolent Fund.
Portraits of the three world leaders, Churchill, Roosevelt & Stalin go around the body of the bell and around the bottom edge is printed:
RAF BENEVOLENT FUND, CAST IN METAL FROM GERMAN AIRCRAFT SHOT DOWN OVER BRITAIN 1939-1945
The handle is the V for victory symbol, printed on both sides.
Approx. 6″ tall
Weighs approx. 13.7oz (386g)
The bell is lighter in color than shown in the photos.
