"One of the Largest Private Collections to Come on the Market"

The Future of A Remarkable Statesman

An Editorial Essay by Charles T. Andrews, M.A.

First published: Washington D.C. April 25th, 1947.
This copy is the second edition, revised, with souvenir insert, June 18, 1947.

A 12-page essay on handmade buff paper 6″ X 9″ with untrimmed edges, bound in similar but heavier covers, all printed in dark brown, with an illustration of 10 Downing Street on the cover.

Laid in are a Souvenir sheet and an Epilogue
Souvenir sheet: 4pp. leaflet on glossy white paper also printed in brown.  A portrait of Churchill and notification that he is now leader of the opposition fills pages 2-3.
Epilogue: a single sheet 2pp. of matching handmade buff paper with untrimmed edge, dated September 12, 1947. The Epilogue almost fills 2 pages.

An extremely scarce pamphlet about Churchill not mentioned by Woods, Redburn or Zoller, although all note the later 1957 edition of this pamphlet by Charles T. Andrews.

A rare item in near fine condition: the only copy I have seen.
