Churchill inscribed both books before giving them to Roger Frewen as a wedding gift in 1952. (Roger Frewen was Churchill’s godson and the son of Churchill’s first cousin, Hugh Frewen.)

Both Books:
Full red morocco by Bumpus Ltd of Oxford Street
Odhams Press Limited – 1948 second printing
Roger Moreton Frewen’s bookplate on front paste-down
All edges gilt

Small books ~8.25″ x 5.25″
