El Alamein Anniversary – Churchill & Montgomery Signatures

Here’s the Program from the El Alamein Anniversary Reunion held at The Royal Albert Hall on October 23rd 1946.

The two principal guests / speakers, Montgomery and Churchill, both signed this program with nice clean ink signatures on the inside cover:

Montgomery of Alamein F.M / Winston S. Churchill.

The program measures 8″x9″, 8 pages in thin card covers, with full colour unit badges on the rear and a two colour cartoon on page 3.

The front cover is illustrated with sketches of the desert war and “Monty” wearing his renowned beret. The evenings festivities included a sing-along for which the words are printed within the program.

The program is protected in a stunning hard bound chemise with the illustrated front cover faithfully reproduced on the front cloth board of the chemise, further protected in a three quarter red morocco book like clam-shell box with red cloth boards and contrasting leather title label on the spine.
