Brown “Winston Churchill” Toby Character Jug

A rare colorway version of Kirkland’s Winston Churchill First Lord of The Admiralty Character Jug. Very few color versions were made; many more of the original cream-colored Toby character jugs were produced.

Kirkland’s backstamp on base

The jug depicts Winston Churchill as a ship’s figurehead in tribute to his return to the Admiralty as The First Lord in 1939.

This figural pitcher was only produced for a very short time and is rarely seen in the US marketplace.

No chips, cracks or crazing.
