Wartime Toby Jug: Winston Churchill “BULLDOGS”

Stand approx 11″ high
The seat is decorated with an anchor, an airplane and a Union Jack flag.
“BULLDOGS” is the inscription on this large toby of Churchill standing astride a bulldog.
On the base is written:
John Bull
Churchill 1940
“We shall defend every village, every town and every city”
Different colorways of this toby jug were issued: the ones with Churchill wearing a red jacket or a brown jacket (this one listed here) were for export only. The uncoloured version was produced for the UK market.
A fine copy of the coloured version with the brown jacket.
