PROOF COPIES of all four volumes of HESP.
These publishers proof copies are bound in card covers. They lack indices and prefaces but have maps and footnotes.
Vols 2, 3 & 4 have dust jackets over the card covers. I don’t believe Vol. I ever came with a dust jacket, other sets I have seen were always missing the jacket from volume one. Volume II has a compliments card from the publisher laid in and Volume III has a letter from the publisher laid in.
The dust jackets are over-size and hence wrinkled along the top edges due to this, otherwise a very nice set.
