Churchill Books, Churchilliana & EphemeraYalta Conference – The Big Three
Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin, accurately modelled, and, I believe, hand painted by Sphere of Saint Petersburg, Russia, but without labels.
“The Big Three”: Winston Churchill – UK, Roosevelt – US & Stalin – Soviet Union met in Yalta, Crimea on Feb. 4–11 1945 to discuss the defeat of Germany, hence the name “The Yalta Conference”.
Superbly modelled with Stalin and Churchill standing – WSC in a khaki great coat: both approx. 3.5″ tall including the wooden bases.
Roosevelt is seated: approx. 2.5″ tall including the wooden base.
A very impressive set in fine condition.
