• A postcard from Anthony Seldon (author of Churchill’s Indian Summer)
• Three postcards from Martin Gilbert to Montgomery Hyde, from Limassol, Cyprus, Bucharest, and Dardanelles, Turkey
• A menu from a dinner party organized by Montgomery Hyde for Martin Gilbert at The Garrick Club. The menu is signed by the attendee’s including Martin Gilbert, Lord Boothby, A.J.P. Taylor, Denis Kelly, Terence O’Neil and others
• A letter from Denis Kelly to Montgomery Hyde re: returning his pen from the night of the dinner party
• A signed letter from A.J.P. Taylor thanking Montgomery Hyde for the dinner party
• Finally, an autograph letter from Martin Gilbert dated 15 October 1971 to Montgomery Hyde which begins thus:
I hope by now you have received the Churchill volume, which I asked the publishers to send you before publication day, which is on October 25th – my birthday!…
