Occassion: Funeral of Sir Winston Churchill
Date: 30 January 1965

The pamphlets were bound in full black leather bindings & are preserved in three quarter black morocco clamshell book-like boxes with contrasting red leather title labels and each housed together in a black cloth-covered slip case.

This special edition was given to the Royal Family, the Churchill family and high ranking diplomats who attended Sir Winston Churchill’s funeral on 30th Jan. 1965.

Added here is a photo (NOT INCLUDED) of the mourners as they exit St Paul’s Cathedral: Queen Elizabeth II is holding the bound versions of the service pamphlets, while other attendees can be seen holding the unbound pamphlets.
