This book is uniquely special: I had it rebound in white leather to match the original white boards which had deteriorated over the years. The contents were in fine condition but the binding was beyond repair. The white leather front board and spine are identical to the original paper board and spine. Four special dies were made in order to replicate the binding.

This book is the first to ‘faithfully reproduce art works in color, based on watercolors’ making it the precursor to illustrated art books, especially children’s books.
