Churchill’s haunting essay about an imaginary reunion with his father, originally written in 1947, was first published in the Sunday Telegraph on 31st January, 1966.
This copy is from a limited edition of 75 copies bound in full green leather by Robert Hartnoll Ltd. They were gifts for Churchill family members at the 120th Anniversary of the birth of Sir Winston at the Pinafore Room Savoy Hotel, London on the 30th November 1994.
All were hand numbered in calligraphy on the colophon page, this copy being the original proof copy.
A fine copy in the original glassine dust jacket.
