An album with 24 silver-gilt medallions in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the birth of Sir Winston Churchill, minted by John Pinches Medallists Ltd. 1974
These 24 limited edition ‘Sterling Silver Proof’ medals were specially minted for this volume and are housed, six at a time, in thick double-sided display boards, with interleaved text describing the actual event in Churchill’s life depicted on each medal.
The leatherette binder is a little worn, but the contents are in pristine condition. Very impressive & informative transcript pages accompany each medal. Medals have never been removed from the plastic capsules.
