No markings. Clean. Bright colorful illustrations.

In addition to the monthly calendar each page features a Churchill quote artistically framed by the illustrator, John Buchanan.

Small (due to war-time paper economy) – measures approx: 4.5″x7″

From rear cover: “This Calendar is designed by Mr. John Buchanan, a crippled artist without hands, and one of the twenty-five thousand the National Children’s Home has been privileged to help. It has been printed at the Home’s Technical School for the training of craftsmen, and is published by the National Children’s Home. Highbury Park, London N.5. Its present small size is in consequence of war-time paper economy.“
