Superb signed photograph of a young Winston Churchill
Here’s a photograph of an uncommon painting of Churchill circa 1900 signed by Churchill in 1947.
Signed boldly by Churchill in ink.
Comes in a folder of photographer J.W. Cooper, Oldham, with a typed letter on Chartwell notepaper from Churchill’s private secretary. This accompanying letter, dated 13th April, 1947, indicates that this photograph was being sent to the Mayor of Oldham.
