Caption pasted on the back of the photograph:
ELECTION WINNER SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL turns and smiles as LADY CHURCHILL shows her delight after he had been declared winner in the Woodford (Essex) seat in the 1955 General Election.
Sir Winston, now 90, is ill at his home in Hyde Park Gate, London. A bulletin this afternoon said there had been cerebral thrombosis.
