A scarce Broadside, preserved in a green cloth covered flap case with a red leather title label on front cover.
This message from Winston Churchill dated Sept 19, 1941 to Colegate (Conservative Party) was written 7 days before The Wrekin by-election held on Sept 26, 1941. The by-election was held due to the death of the incumbent Conservative MP, James Baldwin-Webb. Arthur Colegate won.
Only record in Woods is the same letter contained in the Political Journal of the Constitution Club.
