Letters to Lady Rook, Churchill’s Neighbor at Chartwell

4 Letters to Lady Rook – Winston & Clementine Churchill’s Neighbor at Chartwell

The first letter dated July 1st, 1959 and signed by Churchill’s Private Secretary Grace Hamblin, relating to the use of Lady Rook’s field for parking when the Churchill’s garden was to be open.

The second letter dated July the 10th, 1959 is an autograph letter signed from Clementine Churchill and relates to the first letter.

The third letter dated November 28, 1961 is an autograph letter, signed by Churchill’s Private Secretary Grace Hamblin, thanking Lady Rook for the gift of a cartoon.

The fourth letter dated December 5th, 1961, is a typed letter signed by Churchill’s Private Secretary Doreen Pugh and relates to, I believe, the same gift mentioned in the third letter.

A very nice group of letters + an unrelated envelope (dates do not match up). Clementine Churchill’s letter with her authentic Signature is of particular interest to Churchill admirers.
