Otto Eduard Leopold, Prince of Bismarck, Duke of Lauenburg, known as Otto von Bismarck, was a conservative German statesman who masterminded the unification of Germany in 1871 and served as its first chancellor until 1890, in which capacity he dominated European affairs for two decades.
Born: April 1, 1815, Schönhausen, Germany.
Died: July 30, 1898, Friedrichsruh, Aumühle, Germany.
Known as the Iron Chancellor
When Churchill was four years old, his parents took him on a trip to Badgastein, Austria. While in Badgastein they had tea with Prince Bismarck, so at a very early age Churchill met the man who would become the first Chancellor of Germany.

This pocket watch is a one of a kind with the original leather case, extremely rare, in mint condition.
