Framed, signed sketch of General Montgomery, the caption reads:
“This sketch, drawn in ink on cartridge paper in 1941, is the original, and bears the authentic signature of this great man. In that year it was posted to the War Office to coincide with the visit by ‘Monty’, from Italy, to discuss problems of war. He graciously took time out to append his signature, and rank at that time.”
Signed by General Montgomery. 1941
The sketch has a vertical and an horizontal crease where it has been folded, otherwise in FINE condition.
