First appeared in Vital Speeches of the Day 1 December 1942 (E90). This speech was subsequently included in the book The End of the Beginning (the third volume of Winston Churchill’s War Speeches, 1943) under the title “The War Situation”.

Bound in pale blue card wrappers, preserved in a maroon cloth clam-shell box with leather spine label.
