Churchill’s address was delivered only three weeks after the US entered WWII. Britain had already been in the war since September 3rd 1939 after Germany invaded Poland. Churchill’s powerful speeches to the people of Britain helped keep that nation behind the war effort.
This booklet, published in the US by The MacMillan Company (publishers of the DEMOCRACY SERIES) was handed out to motivate and encourage public support for the war effort. It was distributed freely with the compliments of Civitan International.

The pamphlet has a vertical fold, otherwise a very good copy of this scarce item.
