Two signed etchings of Winston Churchill by the artist Vera Down. Both feature small vignettes of a battleship along the bottom edge.

Published by New World Galleries Ltd. 1941.
Printed on hand-made, water-marked deckle edged paper.

Signed by the Artist – Vera Down (1888-?) an English painter and engraver (etcher) who studied in Paris and exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Royal Society of Graphic Arts and at the Salon of Artists.

Please Note: the reflection from the glass covering the etchings makes it difficult to take actual photos of each etching. Both etchings are in excellent condition.
