Cartier Silver Tie Pin – Gift from Churchill

Winston Churchill’s Gifts to Staff

Upon his retirement in 1955 Churchill presented staff with memorabilia including a specially commissioned Cartier silver Hallmarked pendant.

Churchill commissioned Cartier to produce 113 of these silver pendants: this particular one has a clasp added to the backside so it can be used as a tie pin.

Diameter of pendant measures approx. 2.2cm (7/8″)
