Sir John Randolph Leslie (1885-1971), known as Shane Leslie was Churchill’s cousin. In 1908 Leslie became a Roman Catholic and supported Irish Home Rule. This letter from Churchill, dated 10 April 1908, thanks Leslie for sending him information concerning “O’Briens views on Land Purchase”.
