A fine example of a Meerschaum pipe, expertly carved, depicting Churchill

Meerschaum pipes are crafted from the mineral sepiolite, an ideal material for pipemaking because it naturally filters smoke and absorbs tobacco oils. This absorption process causes the pipe to darken significantly over time. An unused meerschaum pipe, like the one listed here, is pristine white, but it will change color with use.

Although Churchill never smoked a pipe there are many examples of carved Meerschaum and Briar pipes depicting Churchill smoking his trade mark cigar.

This pipe is AS NEW, in its original leather presentation case.

It has never been used and is in perfect condition.
