The book, At Long Last and a photograph of Winston Churchill and Edward , Prince of Wales, (before he became King).
A fine copy in quarter pigskin with cloth covered boards with Coat of Arms printed on front board. (Small bump to top right corner edge.)
Limited edition of 200 copies printed for Ransohofs at the Grabhorn Press of San Francisco in November 1938.

Churchill essentially opposed marriage between the King and Mrs. Simpson but was open to a morganatic marriage.
Churchill also tried to suppress the Nazi plot to restore Edward VIII to the British throne.
The book is accompanied by a fine 8 x 10 inch press photograph of Churchill and Edward (then Prince of Wales) in 1919 chatting after a luncheon party at the House of Commons for United States airmen who flew the Atlantic.
Churchill served under six different monarchs starting with Queen Victoria through to the to the present-day Queen Elizabeth II.
