A fine pair of contrasting Wedgwood Tankards / Mugs in white and pale “Wedgwood” blue. The mug with the white background is very scarce.
These tankards measure approx. 5.5” high x 3.5 “ diameter
Both feature a Machin bust of Churchill
Around the bottom rim is Churchill’s 1941 message to Roosevelt:
“Give Us The Tools And We Will Finish The Job”
On the base is a quote from Churchill’s June 1940 speech:
“——-we will fight on the seas and oceans. we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, in the fields, in the streets and in the hills —–
WE SHALL NEVER SURRENDER
