WINSTON CHURCHILL’S SIGNATURE: HAND-WRITTEN LETTER -1910

 

Autograph Letter Signed – 24th Sept. [1910] Winston Churchill.

On 5″ x 8″ Home Office Stationery with black border [Edward the VII died in May]. Written to Captain James Wylie (1862 – 1937) Durham Light Infantry, who wrote favourably about W.S.C. at the amoured train battle in 1899. (see official Biog. Vol. 1 British edn. pp.464-5).

“My dear Wylie,

Many thanks for your book which is only another instance of your remarkable powers of accurate detail and wide comprehension.
Come and see me sometime.
