Churchill Centenary – Cigar Box by Stuart Devlin, Silver & Gilt

Magnificent, rare, silver and gilt sculptured cigar box from the London silversmith Stuart Devlin. This box was commissioned by “The Heritage Collection” and strictly limited to 50 copies of which only 30 copies were for the UK market. The cigar box shown here is No. 27. The output from Devlin’s workshop in the City of London was only 3 per week at the time so it is likely that most of the boxes were delivered in 1975.
