THE WINSTON CHURCHILL MEMORIAL STATUE APPEAL 1970

This is a folio volume that gives the names of all the people and companies who gave money for the statue in Parliament Square launched on 27th February 1970, by the Rt. Worshipful The Lord Mayor of Westminster.

The volume is bound in full sturdy green buckram, with a leather label on the upper cover showing Churchill’s crest.

The statue committee most gratefully acknowledges the generosity of Mr. Bray who gave the paper and binding for the book and whose firm Messrs. Sangorski and Sutcliffe bound the books free of charge.

The volume contains one loose leaf – To  W.S.C. by Viscount Norwich.

Very scarce.
