First Edition, Second Impression

Thornton Butterworth, London, 1931. In dark green wrappers 5″ x 7.25″, 143 pages.

Churchill was very critical of Gandhi and strongly opposed Independence for India in the 1930s. This book publishes 10 of his speeches on the subject.

Quite scarce title although you can usually find copies if you look around. A very good copy, the binding is tight, the spine is bright and clean. Covers clean and bright. Preserved in a blue velvet lined watered silk flap-case with blue leather title label on front.
