Printed by Giovanni and Martino Mardersteig at the Stamperia Valdonega in Verona, hand-bound in full red morocco, lettered gold by Croft Bookbinders of London. Housed in original green slip-case with its marbled paper boards.

The paper was specially made by Cartiere Magnani in Pescia.
The type was distributed.

The frontispiece was hand-printed at the Officina Bodoni, signed by the artist, and the etching plate was defaced.

Contained in this book are a collection of articles and speeches by leading figures of the European Movement including Winston Churchill, Queen Elizabeth II, Adenauer, Leon Blum, Willy Brandt, De Gaulle, John F. Kennedy, Salvador de Madariaga, Jean Monnet, Pompidou, Denis de Rougemont, Carlo Sforza, thereby recording the history of the European Community and celebrating Great Britain’s part it played toward it.

In VERY FINE CONDITION with an additional printer’s proof of the Churchill contribution laid in.

A fine addition to add to your all Churchill library.
