47 Easton Press Books by or about Winston Churchill

The Easton Press has been prolific in its output of works by and about Winston Churchill.

47 volumes are shown here; they would be a superb addition to every collector’s library and are not too expensive if you are just starting out. This collection of 47 books, all in Fine condition is valued at around $5,500. Note that many are still sealed in the publisher’s clear wrapping – hence the reflection seen in this photograph.

For anyone serious about collecting books by Winston S. Churchill they should definitely obtain a copy of Richard M. Langworth’s book “A Connoisseur’s Guide to the Books of SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL”. This is an invaluable guide and describes a wide range of editions of all Churchill’s books along with pictures and price guides. The revised edition came out in the year 2000 so you can expect to pay considerably more for fine editions as Churchill’s works have proved to be a good investment and have certainly outpaced inflation.
