CHURCHILL MEMORIAL MEDAL 1965 – GOLD MEDALLION #49

 

The Certificate issued with this gold medal states:

This Gold Medallion has been struck to commemorate the life of Rt. Hon. Sir Winston Churchill, K.G., O.M., C.H., M.P., 1874-1965,
“The greatest man of our time” 

The design portrays Sir Winston Churchill when he was at the height of his power and fame during the second World War. Only 500 of these Medallions have been struck, and this certifies Number 49, which number also appears on the back of the Medallion.
