CHURCHILL EXHIBITION IN JAPAN 1965, MALNICHCI SHIMBUN-SHA, VIRGINIA COWLES

Exhibition in Japan – An Album Prepared by Malnichci Shimbun-Sha

Contains a photographic record of a tribute to Sir Winston Churchill KG which was mounted as part of the British Exhibition, Tokyo, 1965. The script was written by Virginia Cowles. The architect and designer was John Lansdell. Executive responsibility was undertaken by British Overseas Fairs Ltd., who shared financial sponsorship with the Malnichi Newspaper Group of Tokyo, Japan.

The tribute was made possible by the great kindness of Lady Spencer-Churchill (Clementine), Mr. Randolph Churchill, and many others close to Sir Winston, who loaned items appearing in the presentation.

An unusual item not seen often.

Estimated value $200
