3 Churchill Centenary Pendants – Gold, Silver & Bronze

Posted on Nov 30, 2011

Three Churchill Centenary Pendants in 18ct. gold, sterling silver and pure bronze sculpted by Edward DeWitt exclusively for Silver Creations, Ltd. New Jersey. 1974, Phillip R. Friedman.

7,500 sets were issued.

This is a very impressive item with an excellent portrait of Churchill and, due to the size of the edition, not a particularly hard item to find. Obviously the current price of gold significantly inflates the value of the set. There are no hallmarks on the medals and the reason for this is that the hook eye is not of the same material as the pendant. The pendants come with a presentation pouch with artwork reproduced from a drawing by Sarah Churchill.

  • Silver pendant: diam approx. 1.5″. Wt. 44gm
  • Bronze pendant: diam approx. 1.5″. Wt. 36gm

The value of this set is $2,000.00
